My own personal import from California in 1991. 2007 total ground-up nut and bolt restoration and bare metal respray in original colours and now just as the car was when new. 6000 dry miles since restoration and always garaged. Simply the best example of this model in Europe. A real show stopper and the subject of several magazine features. Full set of MoT’s. Drives beautifully and any full inspection welcomed. Interesting US history. Very reluctant sale due to my old age now.
I bought the car from a California dealer in 1991 and at that time requested from the US DMV a full list of previous owners. The car remained within one family for many years. I visited all the previous owners AND the dealership that sold the car new in 1957. An interesting story in itself.
