Description
For sale, Lancia Delta Integrale Evo2, 1993, Lord Blue.
This is a lovely Evo2 example in very good condition. You'll know an Integrale's enemy is rust, this car is rust free. I've owned this car for 8 years, it's been very lightly used in my ownership. The car has been covered and stored, maintained as required, brakes, lubes and cam belts etc. To prepare for this sale I've cleaned out the fuel tank and replaced the fuel pump and filter, changed the engine oil and filter, air filter and engine belts. A refurbished cam cover and gasket, iridium plugs and a new battery installed. Also various other items as required.
With the front end parts removed to replace some headlamp clips, I photographed the front panel area to show how original this Delta is, the inner factory coating is visible behind the front wheel arch big front bung too. This car is European spec, bee sting aerial and correct position side winkers, it was UK reg until bought by Dino van Lingen at his Alfa Romeo garage in the Netherlands. The car was cared for by Dino's workshop team which maintains sporting Alfas.
Dino needed to sell the Delta to pay for a Ferrari Dino he was rebuilding, this was turning out to be a basket case. I bought the Delta and drove it back to UK, this was a good shakedown trip, a new window motor and an alternator fitted on arrival. Some pics of Dino's garage in the listing.
The Delta's interior is very good, some 'pin balling' on driver's seat, but no perforation on bolster etc. Carpets are good with original Walkers over mats, full tool kit, jack and spare, and a Lancia spare bulb box in rear. Dash warning lights work, windows wind, switches good and rear wash wipe works. Lights are all good, the rear passenger door cover has a small blemish. The car has a chrome knob short shift gear lever, otherwise original controls, a Sony radio and air con. An alarm is fitted and 4 locking wheel nuts. The wheels are in good condition.
The engine starts well, good oil pressure etc, cooling fan works, the car is smooth running and rattle free. I think it would enjoy an Italian tune up with a belt down the motorway. The car has an Italian instr. book and records of ownership in this country. There are 4 keys and 2 alarm fobs, the car has 12mo mot from 30 Sept 26, the ad photos were taken on that day also, so the pics are up to date. The car has not been pro valeted, I've washed and polished it, but this Delta always looks perfect.
I thought this Delta was too good to use, I've preserved it with love and occasional maintenance. It is a collector's quality car and I'm proud to present it for the next discerning owner.
