Why it appeals
Blending the original Defender’s tough, no-nonsense character, the efficiency of the five-cylinder TD5 turbodiesel engine, and the practicality of the seven-seat Station Wagon body, this 110 Defender makes for a particularly tempting proposition.
This 2003 model was supplied brand new in Germany in a notably generous factory specification. Since then, it has benefited from a major programme of upgrades and a complete corrosion-treatment package, putting it well above the usual standard.
The underbody and chassis have been completely stripped down manually, treated for corrosion and then protected with a dedicated wax. All four doors have been removed, restored and treated to address the well-known Defender weakness when it comes to corrosion in the lower sections.
Inside, the cabin has been fully renovated with original Alcantara covering the seats, door cards, headlining trim, certain dashboard elements and the steering wheel. Complete sound and thermal insulation has also been fitted throughout the cabin.
According to the seller, the end result even exceeds the quality of the original build.
Presented in Anthracite Grey and accompanied by an outstanding MOT valid until June 2028, this Defender is now ready to join its new owner.
