A bigger 1.6L engine, stronger crankshaft, and stiffer rear axle make the Series 3A Rapier one of the best of this long run of Loewy-designed coupes. That trim is all very well kept thanks to the car’s life in the dry Western Transvaal Province of South Africa under the stewardship of just two keepers.
