The Appeal

The original 240Z had a magpie-like ability to spot the best of European and American sports cars and give buyers a car that combined it all. The 260Z refined the idea, with a larger engine delivering more mid-range torque and a stiffer S30 chassis providing improved handling.

The 2+2 extended the wheelbase by 300mm to accommodate four people. It proved popular with UK buyers, selling around 3,500 over five years. These cars, unlike American-market models, got the long-legged 5-speed gearbox as standard. This 1978 car is one of the last built before the switch to the more GT-focussed 280Z. It is a really tidy car that was extensively restored inside and out before being put into storage.

For the right enthusiast, this is a chance to acquire a very rare 70s fastback where someone else has put in all the investment and hard work to bring it up to a very smart standard.
