*** As with all RS models, the original Type 00E camshafts were too aggressive with very high valve lift; they would damage the guides and valves after just a few hours of riding. They were then replaced with R models, less demanding, allowing a longer technical lifespan for the top end.
** Frame replaced about twenty years ago following a racing incident.
