Fiennes Showroom are delighted to offer this very original which has spent most of its life in Scotland.
GHJ17 has been enjoyed in the current ownership for the last 4 years.
Prior to this the previous owner purchased the car in 2010 who had purchased the car from a very long standing ownership of over 50 years. Quite remarkable and a treasured possession.
The car was ordered by a Mrs Crighton of Cupar in 1927 via agents Croall & Sons of Edinburgh. Park Ward were entrusted with the task of constructing the six light division coachwork that we find on the car today.
FG2766 is presented today in an unrestored example that in my view be preserved rather than restored. The chestnut coloured leather is in remarkable condition for its age with this being extended to the rear compartment, which is a rare to find.
Continuing in the rear compartment you have the twin fold out occasional seats surrounded by the original woodwork.
The external coachwork is Grey over black which shows signs of age related areas around the vehicle but consistent with the overall appearance of the car.
Artillery wheels are fitted all round as are the twin side mount spares. A good sized luggage trunk resides on the rear.
Under the previous ownership the car has had £6000 spent on it with Marque Specialists Milford Vintage Engineering. This included a full servicing & attention to the brakes & Kingpins along with a host of other small items that needed doing.
A service and underbody clean was carried out by Fiennes around 2019 and the car has remained in storage since then.
