1979 FIAT 124 SPIDER AUTO –
A rare combination of an automatic gearbox being united with the Pininfarina designed Fiat 124 spider body.
This vehicle arrived into the UK from the rust free state of California in June 1999 before becoming UK registered and has since only changed owner once in 2014 prior to being purchased by ourselves.
With this vehicle being sourced from the dry state of California It has not suffered from the usual corrosion issues which plagued similar European examples of the time.
As the vehicle stands it presents very well. a full respray has been undertaken at some point along with various mechnical work. The engine develops ample power through its smooth automatic transmission and is also fitted with a new 123 distributor with electronic ignition.
The electrics all operate correctly as they should along with the brakes and suspension with no signs of any knocks, rattles or lurching when you brake !
The interior presents very nice with only the seats starting to show their age slightly.. It is fitted with both a brand new hood and a carpet set to give it a sharp finish.
An excellent rust free example both ready to be used or a good base to improve from!
