A rare opportunity to own 1 of only 32 ever to be produced Marcos 2+2. Fitted with the Triumph 2 ½ litre straight six fuel injected engine featuring a 4 speed gearbox with overdrive. This Mantis has recently been restored to a high standard and presented in stunning Marcos Earls Court metallic blue paintwork. Completely re-trimmed interior in the correct black Ambla and Cirrus materials used in the original production and supplied by Marcos Heritage and finished with a new elm veneer dashboard. Based on an original sketch by Dennis Adams, the production design and development of the Mantis was carried out by ex-Lotus engineer the late Brian Cunnington and his signature can be found signed within the boot lid of this particular model. This example is in beautiful condition throughout and drives superbly and comes with a wealth of history and provenance.
