1988 MG Metro
The car went through a full restoration around 6 years ago as has been restored to a very high stand as the photos should show. The photos really don't do the car justice and needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. This is a genuine MKII MG Metro with a genuine 'turbo' bodykit, a super rare car with less than 100 examples left on the uk roads! This is by far the best example currnently forsale and I can honestly say the best metro I have ever seen!
Bodywork-
All bodywork restoration carried out around 6 years ago, this was full glass/ interior/ engine out, full bare metal rebuild restoration. New heritage panels fitted where required and repainted inside/ out to a very high standard. All door shuts, bonnet gaps etc as new, this is as close to a newly built metro as you will find. Fully cavity wax oiled behind panels arches/ sills etc... this metro has been restored with the intention of lasting...
Engine bay-
When you open the bonnet and look into the engine bay you can't help but smile... simply stunning, every thing in keeping with the restoration, as good as your going to find, I would dread to think if the hours and money that has been spent on this car bringing it to its current condition.
Chassis-
This metro is as good and solid underneath as the paintwork, looks to have original floors and has been cavity wax oiled to preserve. Please see photos below
Interior-
Original interior in superb condition, seats and carpet has no stains or rips or tears. Dashboard has no cracks and has original rubber mat. Carpets have rubber overlay mats to preserve. Cigarette lighter unused. Roof linning is very good but not quite up to standard if the rest of the car. Boot and parcel shelf n superb condition, has original spare wheel with jack and brace.

This little metro is a joy to drive and brings attention wherever it goes. I can't but smile every time I take the cover off the car. This little cars are getting very rare now and I don't think you with find another in this condition.
