A great 'starter classic', this is a four-door example of the very well designed and executed Austin Big Seven. These really are good cars, and, in our opinion are greatly underestimated. We think they are much better that the Austin Seven Ruby - much more spacious inside, a better, more powerful engine (900cc), quieter running and generally better looking - and also - they cost less to buy! A pre-war car for all the family. This example has just had its engine fully re-built and now runs like a dream, the interior has been restored in recent years, including head lining, door cards and seats. Underneath, the car is good and sound and there is a good set of tyres. The paintwork could be improved in some areas, together with a bit of work to one of the doors. All this is reflected in the price. V5C.
