Beschreibung

This stunning Triumph TR6 Pi 150 bhp - Chassis No: CP52584 is an original UK RHD 'Matching Numbers' car that was built in Coventry in late November 1970 and first registered with EMU 1J on 14th January 1971.
The car is finished in the lovely period Mallard Green with Black Leather Sports seats piped in Green, Black carpets, Black Vinyl Soft top, 2. 5 litre 6 Cylinder Fuel injected Engine, 4 Speed Manual Gearbox with Overdrive on 2nd, 3rd & 4th, Walnut Dashboard, Wooden Mota-Lita Steering Wheel, Electronic Ignition, Poly-bushed Suspension and Chrome Wire Wheels.

The car comes with a huge History file with invoices dating back to 1979 along with MOT Certificates from 1988 to date, full ownership details from new plus DVLA copies of all V5's. The car had a full body restoration in 1981 including 4 new wings, inner wings and sill panels and there are photo's in the file for this restoration. In 1989 the Engine was completely rebuilt at a mileage of 76, 472 and it has now covered a genuine 98, 400 miles from new (only 2, 200 miles on rebuilt engine) as confirmed by the MOT History and National Mileage Register and it is clear on all HPI registers.

The car was sold in July 1994 and the new owner decided to have the car repainted and in November 1995 it was given to Southern Triumph Services in Bournemouth. They completely stripped the car, fitted a new boot lid and outer sills and the colour was changed from its original Sienna Brown to the lovely Mallard Green (Code 106). In addition to this, they replaced many ancillary components and repainted and detailed the engine bay with the total cost of these works coming in at just under ?8, 000.

The current owner purchased the car 12 years ago in 2007 from TR Bitz in Cheshire and during his ownership he has also spent a further ?4, 500 on various works, parts and servicing which included a Gearbox rebuild by the Yorkshire TR Centre in Wakefield in 2009 and new Stainless Steel Bumpers in 2016.

We have just had the car repainted due to a few imperfections in the paintwork (no damage or corrosion) and it is now in absolutely stunning condition throughout and it really does drive superbly. It also retains its original number plate from 1971 EMU 1J.

Upon sale it will come with our own Customer Care Package including a service, new MOT and a 6 Month Mechanical Warranty which can be extended and upgraded at additional cost if required.
