The Porsche Carrera 3. 2 marked the end of an era, the last of her kind with visible bumpers and a very strong presence on the road. Introduced in 1984, the Porsche Carrera 3. 2 replaced the previous SC; now with 80% new engine components and an increase in displacement to 3164 cc, power peaked at over 230 horsepower. The later model years, as be the case with our example received the Getrag G50 5 speed gearbox. As power increased significantly from the SC, the brakes were increased in size and the fuel and ignition components improved to an L Jetronic with Bosch Motronics 2 DME.
We are extremely delighted to offer for sale this beautifully presented Carrera Sport, a package that incorporated front and rear spoilers, Fuchs wheels, electronically adjustable seat heights and a sunroof.
Delivered new to Parker & Parker Ltd, an official Porsche centre in May of 1988; this example came in Guards Red with Grey Green Leatherette with White Pinstripe Seat Inlays and a G50 5 speed gearbox. Her optional equipment being comprehensive with sport shock absorbers, door/ rear panels and back wall section in cloth and sport seats to name a few.
This motorcar comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, MOTs dating back to 1991 and a comprehensive service history. She has received a refresh by Hexagon Classics a few years ago and is in outstanding condition throughout.
The motorcar is sold with a service and comes complete with her tools, pouch and matching numbers engine.
