Chassis number 206E136532 - This 206E example being a Mark II differed from it Zephyr and Consul stable mates by having a more elaborate tail end styling and at the front a unique radiator grille. The auxiliary lamps and wing mirrors were deleted from the Zodiac range but it retained two-tone paint, whitewall tyres, chrome wheel trim embellishers and gold plated badging. An example tested by the British magazine The Motor in 1956 had a top speed of almost 88 MPH and cost £968 including taxes. From the ownership history we can see that this car was originally registered as 770HRB to a Derbyshire owner and was originally Black and Blue along with what appears to be the vast majority of ownership from then on as supplied by DVLA. This car has driven approximately 65 miles to be at the Auction and has been a regular attendee on the show scene in recent years. The vendor informs us that this Highline example has had a very recent interior and engine overhaul.
