Ford Escort MK2 RS2000, Genuine car with number still on strut top. We have the current style V5 but no history. Car is showing 106000 miles. Immobiliser fitted. Mot till April 19. Car is currently on the road and can be driven away.
Body - Genuine RS2000 shell with all the correct strenghthening plates. Number visible on strut top, Paintwork is very tidy. Panel gaps are good. Doors shut well in apertures and do not stick out. Looks to have had work in the past on rear arches, boot wells and outer floors. Been reundersealed fairly recently by look of it. Very solid underneath and useable as it is. If you wanted to build a minter you would need to redo some of the previous repairs. Should have door mirrors but not fitted for some reason.
Mechanics - All looks fairly standard. Car starts run and stops as it should. No smoke or rattles. No idea when it was last serviced or when the belt was last done as no real service history with the car.
Interior - All standard and very tidy. seat look to have been retrimmed at some stage and are superb. Dash top is good as are carpets and door cards.
Wheels - 7" Ronals not copies with Pirelli CN36 tyres.
This is a good useable very tidy looking car. If your looking for a concourse car this probably wont be for you. If your looking for something to use, abuse and improve as you go then come for a look.
