Supplied new on 1st January 1989 by Gaulds of Glasgow, official RR dealers. Extra specification includes Leather Top and Knee Roll, Quarter badges, Cream Everflex Roof, Leather steering wheel and Spur Wheels Trims. Remained in the hands of the first owner until 1994, at which time Walllace Mercer, Chairman and owner of Heart of Midlothian Football Club took ownership, and registration plate XX2 was applied. This car has only covered minimal mileage during its lifetime. Known to myself since 1999 and previously supplied by myself in March 2006 with a mileage of just 13000. The car retains its original factory books including the Blaupunkt Radio operating guide, Warranty cards, Vehicle Identification folder, Dealership guide and the original RR stamped service book. Copies of the original New Car Order, Purchase invoice and Delivery note remain in the history file. The original tools, small and large are housed in their individual compartments. The paintwork remains fresh, bright and unfaded, and the interior leather is exceptional for its year, with the period Blaupunkt radio remaining in place. The engine bay is exceptionally clean and bright, as is the boot interior. A new set of factory spec Avon Turbosteel tyres have recently been fitted. All summed up, a very sharp car in every way, finished in a classically exotic colour combination.
