Some may say that this is the Holy Grail for the Corniche series of Fixed Head Coupes (or in Rolls-Royce parlance 2 door saloon), and who am I to disagree?
These rather rare and sought after versions have the underpinnings of the then new Silver Spirit saloon cars including the new rear undercarriage, revised fuel tank & filler neck (near side 'C' post) and Mineral Oil replacing the previous braking hydraulic system
The fascia also benefited from some new digital gauges, showing that even Rolls-Royce was keeping up with the times (remember this was 1980 after all)
Our car has only been kept by 5 owners and has covered only 49. 000 miles since new
The complete service voucher booklet is tucked away nicely in the original service book pack, and there is a nice synopsis of the ownership trail and also of the entire service history
Finished in the distinguished Athenaeum Blue with Magnolia hide for the interior she also enjoys a hide covered steering wheel as well as the top roll (dark blue hide) and the lower knee roll (Magnolia hide)
Presented in what can only be described as in near Concours condition, she really is a beauty
