1960 Austin-Healey Sprite Mk 1 - original RHD
A genuine UK RHD example of the iconic Frogeye Sprite, this car was originally fully restored in the late 1990s and has been meticulously maintained since. Retaining it’s original registration number it is finished in BRG with green interior trim. The hood and side screens are in excellent condition and there is a tonneau cover.
The specification includes various upgrades, including front disc brakes, uprated shock absorbers, 5 x ‘Minilite’ style wheels shod with recently replaced Firestone tyres, correct 948cc engine (balanced) Stage 1 cylinder head with 1. 25” carburettors, three branch exhaust manifold and stainless steel system. The gearbox is the stronger ribbed unit.
The car has formed part of our personal stable for the past four years and is a delight to drive, feeling taut, lively and having that charismatic Sprite exhaust note!
There is a large quantity of paperwork on file, including a green VE60 logbook, bills dating back over many years, plus the correct Driver’s Handbook.
