This rather nice and original Series 2a was last on the road in 2014 when it was used on a regular basis and clocked up 1000 miles in a year.
It was then put into dry storage and has just emerged!
Chassis number 24120832B makes it a Home Market RHD petrol in Marine Blue.
It has always been a truck cab from new.
Registered on 22nd Oct 1965 as NHK 218C in Essex.
Tax and MOT exempt.
Up to date V5 registration document present and correct.
Original 2. 25 petrol engine no 25223029G that runs well and sounds good.
Such an original Land Rover with deep sills, original tailgate, lucas wipers and original colour.
Will need checking over and recommissioning before road use as it has not been used for four years.
Chassis not too bad, has had welding over the years to keep it sound.
Passenger front dumb iron needs some welding.
Bulkhead pretty sound, could do with footwells although useable and solid as is.
Brakes and clutch are working.
Free wheeling AVM hubs.
This will be a very rewarding project that with a bit of time and effort will be a very useable and fun Land Rover.
