2007 Defender 110 Hard Top – 6. 2 LS V8 Auto
The Ultimate Sleeper!
I've owned it since February 2019 and had it converted to a 6. 2 LS V8 with a 6-speed automatic gearbox by Dan Thomas at DT Engine Solutions
The engine is an L92, producing around 396 bhp in standard form. Dan did some mild tuning to the engine and gearbox to suit a fast road Defender. It's seriously quick for what it is, drives really well and sounds fantastic.
Quite a bit of work has gone into it over the years, including:
• 6. 2 LS V8 with 6-speed auto
• Ashcroft LSDs front and rear
• Bilstein shocks with slightly lowered Alive Tuning springs
• LOF Performance brakes front and rear
• Custom-made exhaust and manifolds with remote-operated bypass valve
• 18" Evo Corse wheels with BFGoodrich tyres
• Custom-trimmed rear load area with wood-effect flooring, lined sides and LED lighting
It's a genuine two-seat Hard Top, not a converted station wagon.
Only covered around 65000 miles since new
The original chassis is in good condition and overall it's a very tidy Defender considering it's coming up to 20 years old.
I'It's not something I'm desperate to sell, but I'm not using it enough to justify keeping it.
