The French car manufacturer Darracq at Suresne took over the british Clement-Talbot in 1919. Since cars from french production were called Talbot-Darracq. After the merger with Sunbeam in 1920 the company became Automobiles Talbot. The K78 was built in 1931 and sold new through the swiss dealer Gebrüder Marti at Berne. The car stayed it's whole life in Switzerland. The Talbot has a cabriolet body built inSuresne. It's in very good and authentic condition. Restoration work has been done in the 80ies on body and drivetrain. The car has a lovely patina and did several long distane runs (3x Raid Basel-Paris)
