Description
Porsche 928 GTS
For sale is my beloved Porsche 928 GTS with automatic transmission which I bought in 2012 on 90, 000 miles. This particular model has been finished from factory in Polar Silver Metallic paired with a very dark (almost black) navy leather interior. This colour combination in my opinion works beautifully together. Since the first registration in Feb 1993, it has covered 94, 000 miles, which you will agree is far less than average. However, over the years it has not been neglected as you would expect with any sought after classic Porsche. Complete with a stack of paperwork dated back and carried through by the previous owners, this actual car featured in June 2018’s copy of GT Porsche magazine. The next MOT is required in June 2019, however a fresh years MOT can be sorted if requested for.
Engine
The 350bhp 5. 4 Litre V8 wants for nothing, and has been complemented with fresh fluids and filters during its last service under 1, 000 miles ago. She still pulls like a train through the gears with no issues related to the gearbox. A short while ago the air intake pipes to the filter were replaced with brand new due to age related wear. The factory fitted sports suspension is in great condition and still handles the power and UK roads like it did 26 years ago. The cambelt and water pump were replaced in 2015 and have covered under 700 miles since then.
Bodywork
The silver paintwork and bodywork is in a great condition, especially for the age and has been complemented with a careful wash and polish for the new owner. No carpark dinks nor stone chips present which are common on most cars of the age.
Interior
Inside you will find full dark navy leather with no rips or tears, this interior is fitted with electric memory seats which all work as they should along with a factory fitted sunroof which works perfectly with no leaks. Along with the exterior, the interior has been deep cleaned with the leather cleaned up beautifully.
Bad Bits
With a car of this calibre you have to be honest where work is needed.
The drivers side rear window has a small part of rust (see photos).
The drivers side door seal has a minimal piece of rust also. (see photos).
The bonnet hydraulic RAMS have run out of gas and do not stay open.
The rear left H/ S brake light does not work due to a corroded terminal however I will be investigating to get this sorted this week.
More photos to follow by tomorrow.
