1997 Nissan Patrol 2. 8 SWB, it’s the 2. 8 6 cylinder turbo diesel, engine and gearbox are good, 4wd hi/ low and rear diff lock all working well, 33-10. 5r15 bf Goodrich mud terrains on black Toyota alloys. Interior is in pretty good condition ive had everything out to do welding while it was out I shampood the carpets and gave everything a good clean. I’ve had the truck for around 2 years, when I first got it I fitted new king pins wheel bearings and swivel seals, changed front axle oil and changed engine oil and filter. Last summer I had loads of welding done as it was in a pretty bad way, it’s had new sills inner and outer, rear arches inner and outer, large parts of the floor and a few bits on the chassis it is now totally solid.
While the interior was out I have painted the floor with rubber floor paint and fitted new underlay under the carpets.
It’s been under sealed and waxoiled after its mot (mot expires 05/ 04/ 2020) I also waxoiled inside all the doors, rear quarters and sills.
in the last couple of months most of the suspension has been replaced it’s had front panhard bushes, front shocks, front springs, track rod ends, drag link and rear shocks also had new radiator, water pump and drive belts. The front wings are fibre glass I bought 2 sets but neither of them fit perfectly have one original wing that can go with it but it will need repairs, the body work is not perfect there is some warping around rear arches and the paintwork isn’t great never bothered me I just wanted it to be rot free and strong, the paint has not stuck to the front wings very well but I have some left if you want to try again.
There are a few small faults the interior light doesn’t work but I have a new one to go on will do it if I get time,
There is no aerial for the radio but there is a CD player which works
There is a piece of trim missing on the door which covers the bolts for wing mirror.
Have a few bits that can go with truck, think I’ve got the spare wheel carrier if wanted have oringinal towbar and bracket, some of the old exterior door trims I prefer it with them off and a new front wheel bearing kit with seals.
