It is very rare that you will find an exceptional quality.
The car was restored in Europe, in DATSUN CLUB HUNGARY’s garage. They restore 240Z-280Z cars only. Their main profile is the full restoration from A to Z.
The car was built in 1972, originally came from USA, and was taken apart for every nuts and bolts, and inspected, repaired, replaced as needed in 2018. The basic condition was good, needed only minor bodywork, and the most important it was very original. It would be too long to list all the details. The pictures speak for themselves, but the most important things are the followings:
The body: the professional paint is in official orange. The windshield is brand new, all weatherstrips, seals, rubbers are new. New bumpers, all emblems are factory new ones. The car has new european front and tail lights, new mirror, door moldings, handles.
Interior: it is carefully rebuilt of course, new door panels, new dashboard, restored steering wheel, new seat foams and other vinils, and the floor carpets are new also. New plastic panels, new clock mechanism. Original radio is cleaned, work well with electric antenna.
Underside: the underside panels are painted with protective paint in three layers. All suspension parts are powder coated, they were rebuilt with new bearings, seals, struts, dust protectors, bushings, ball joint, tie rod ends. The car has new brake cylinders, calipers, new brake hoses, brake pads, rebuilt differential, transmission. Tank is cleaned, there are new filler and fuel level sender. Original type exhaust system, electric fuel pump.
Engine bay: is like new. the engine is original matching number, rebuilt it with new pistons, bearings, rings, seals, the head is rebuilt also and carefully checked. There is new japanese timing kit, new starter, alternator, fuel pump, oil pump, fan clutch, oil pressure sender, water outlet, inlet etc. The carburetors are also rebuilt and set to specifications.
All aluminium parts are pearl blasted, all metal bolts and parts are reconditioned or new.
Hoses and clamps are new everywhere. The cooler radiator core is new, the plastic fan also. The engine run app. 500 test km, so it is ready to go.
The car has EU registration, EU license plate, easy to register any country of EU.
