1953 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup For Sale
The First series chevy pickup trucks started in 1947 to 1955. These trucks were known as the Advance Design series. From 1947- 1955 Chevy pickups were the number one seller in the United States. 1953 was the last year for the split window front windshield. These trucks also have vent windows in the doors, which started in 1951. Door handles were changed from the pull down handle to the much improved push button design.
?This 1953 Chevy 3100 is a real half ton short bed. First three digits in the vin are H53. It was with the previous owner for many years. The truck has a late 70's Cadillac 425 V8 engine with an automatic transmission. It is running and driving but does require a bit of work to make it a hundred percent roadworthy. Has manual windows, power steering and power brakes. Currently registered till August 2019. California truck with a clean title in hand.
The interior on the truck is in decent shape. The seat has been reupholstered. Has a Cadillac steering column with tilt. Has some aftermarket gauges which all work fine. Dash still retains the original two gauges. Headliner and sun visors are in good shape.
