Show Winning 1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1 327 V8 4-Speed Manual. Finished in Roman Red with black seats and contrasting fawn carpeting, this example is presented with both its original hard top, a rare and highly sought-after feature – and a brand-new cream soft top. It also features correct Corvette wheel covers and a new set of white-band radial tyres.
The car has benefitted from cosmetic restoration and is clearly a Corvette that has been well maintained and cared for throughout its life. It has just been through our workshop, which included a full service and tune, as well as the fitting of a new set of tyres, plus more. The car also comes complete with its 1962 Corvette handbook and hard-top stand.
An American design icon of the 1950s and early 1960s, this Corvette will not fail to impress wherever it goes. As one of the last C1 models produced before the introduction of the C2 Sting Ray, it is offered in great condition throughout.
As one of the final C1 models, this 1962 example benefits from the later rear-end styling, giving it a more sculptured and distinctive look. It’s a subtle but desirable detail that really sets these later cars apart and adds to their overall presence.
