1992 “K” Daimler Double Six HE Saloon
I am absolutely delighted to be able to offer this stunningly original one owner from new last of the line Daimler Double Six V12 HE 5. 3 .
A locally supplied vehicle owned by a prominent local businessman and his wife since first registration in 1992. This beautiful example is finished in kingfisher metallic with a contrasting ivory leather interior with contrasting piping. This is a very very original vehicle with exceptionally good chrome trim externally, the body has some very minor blemishes upon close inspection, but these do not detract from what is a stunningly good looking and original vehicle. It certainly has none of the usual series 3 rust issues of a rusting scuttle panel or rust above and below the front and rear screens which literally every one of these cars always suffers with.
The interior is in amazing “time warp” condition, all the veneers are in amazing condition with no cracking/ crazing or lifting whatsoever. The leather is also in fabulous condition save for some very light wear to the drivers seat edge which can easily be rectified. The headlining has no sagging as is normally prevalent in this model but there is a little discolouration (we can rectify this relatively inexpensively at the buyers discretion should you wish).
Everything works, both mechanically and electrically, there are no warning lights displayed and the car starts on the button every time. Recent highlights include an overhaul of the front braking system and replacement shock absorbers.
The vehicle will receive a fresh MOT which will include a oil service and rectification of any issues the MOT may highlight.
We have recently treated the car to a waxoyl treatment to ensure the chassis and floorpan stays in good condition.
The vehicle has been cared for by a substantial period of time by the supplying Local jaguar main dealer and comes complete with a full bookpack, all keys, original audio cassettes and a COMPLETE tool kit (worth a small fortune in itself!)
