The car was originally despatched to Walter E Sturgess Dealer on the 12th March 1973 for N W Johnson. First Registered 21st March 1973.
The car comes with a full lever arch file of bills and receipts dating back to 1988, including bill of sale from Churchfields in 1988, and MOT's back to 1982.
The car has had 6 owners in total, 3 prior owners to J D Classics in 2010. JD Classics commissioned a full recommission of the vehicle. The current owner has had the car since 2012.
The car was featured and highly regarded in Classic Car Weekly in April 2010, of which there is a copy of the article in the history folder.
The car has been maintained by current owner irrelevant of cost at marque specialist Marcus Barclay since coming into his ownership in 2012 which included in January 2014 a full mechanical recommission which resulted in a £9000 bill.
The car then has been serviced annually and consistently maintained with leather connolisation, seat rebuilds, stereo system reworks, to name just a few of the items to keep the car in the pristine condition that you find it in today.
