First registered in August 1979, this is an attractive example of the iconic Morgan sports car, offering a great motoring experience in traditional style. This particular car has wire wheels and is powered by the desirable 1600 Ford Xflow Kent engine. It was driven into its garage in 2006 by the current owner with everything working fine, but for various external reasons, it has not turned a wheel since - until today. We are now very pleased to offer it for sale. Although looking very smart in its yellow coachwork, and with a well maintained interior, it is now in need of recommissioning to put it back on the road as is, or it would make a good subject for a light restoration. The bodywork is aluminium skinned ie the lightweight model, the wire wheels are painted and the hood, which is in reasonable condition, is vinyl. Some attention is needed to the bodywork, but the mechanics all appear to be basically good, although the brakes need an overhaul. Well restored cars of this type are fetching around double our asking price. Comes with V5C, history file, workshop manual.
