Beschreibung
A smart-looking Austin Seven with new paintwork including wheels - a good quality job. The interior is mainly very good with part re-upholstered front seats and rear seat base, good door cards with pockets, newish carpets and new headlining. This is a 'de-luxe' specification car with chrome headlamps (new chrome), sliding sunroof, and as usual, opening front window. The structure of the car before re-painting was found to be excellent and we can find no sign of filler anywhere, so good floors, wheel arches, rear lip, wings, top of windscreen etc. The tyres are nearly new and the underside is particularly sound. 3-speed gearbox, nice clutch, brakes OK, charging system works. Runs alright, but a better carburettor would make a great improvement and there are a couple of other minor jobs to complete - rear lights need wiring up and sliding part of the sunroof needs an additional timber fitting. Priced to reflect the above. V5C.
