After 14 years Aston Martin has finally revised the Vantage model line in succession with the new DB11, it was rumoured to have taken design ques from the DB10 prototype seen in the James Bond movie Spectre and in comparison, to its predecessor, the new Vantage is now punchier, lighter and very, very angry.
Overall, everything has changed. The engine is far more responsive, the transmission is smooth and quick on the up change, the weight distribution and agility are far beyond improved, the driving position is possibly one of the most comfortable and engaging places to be in its class today and the exterior bodywork and design is absolutely drop dead gorgeous however an all new direction we haven’t seen from the British marque.
Selecting Sport’s + to engage it’s all-new AMG supplied and Aston Martin developed 4. 0litre Twin-Turbo V8 to produce 503 horsepower. It will then happily propel its lightweight aluminium platform 0 – 100 in just 3. 6 seconds through a rear mounted ZF 8-Speed Automatic Transmission continuing all the way to a top speed of 313 km/ h.
