1989 MERCEDES-BENZ 420 SL R107
We are absolutely delighted to be able to offer this amazing R107 that has just arrived in stock with us this week.
Having covered just 92000 miles from new it comes complete with a fantastic service history record with all services being completed at Genuine Mercedes Benz Main Dealers or Well respected specialists only. Having been serviced only 100 miles ago by Neville Wright Of Triangle Garage (A senior and well respected Mercedes Benz Owners Club Member). the book contains a total of nineteen entries and every old mot certificate is also present to warrant its incredibly low mileage.
We are confident that this is one of the very finest R107’s currently on sale anywhere. The interior in in absolutely pristine condition and presents in as new condition. Being a late model it comes with some choice options such as drivers airbag, heated seats and electric windows.
The 420 is actually the rarest model in the r107 range with Mercedes only producing circa 2250 out of a total production run of 270k units in its history.
Interestingly the final R107 assembled sits in the Mercedes Benz museum and is a Signal Red (as is this one) 500SL that was built in August 1989, our car was registered August 1989 also!! So has to been one of the very last cars produced ever! - I will do some research on the chassis number and update the listing with my findings.
This car is priced incredibly well, considering how buoyant the market is for r107’s currently.
