Much loved Rover P3 for sale following bereavement. This is an ideal car if you want a ‘75’ to use not just look at. It has had a few modifications to enable it to cope with modern traffic conditions.
The original engine was not fit for use or rebuilding so it now has a 1954 P4 ‘90’ engine.
The car is fitted with flashing indicators (the semaphore indicators still work) and screen wash. It has a 3. 5:1 rear differential in place of the original 4. 7:1 to give it a better cruising speed when driving on high speed roads. The car will now cruise quite happily at a steady 60 mph with plenty in reserve for overtaking. I am happy to provide a lot more history to anyone seriously interested in the car.
The car was used on a weekly basis until illness and was very popular with family and friends for use as a wedding car. In 2016 we toured Spain - from Santander via Salamanca to Granada, returning via Cuenca to Santander, 1500 miles in total.
