LDG 409F was 1st registered in Gloucestershire on 16th August 1967
Tax and MOT exempt.
I have all the ownership history from new which makes fascinating reading!
Up to date V5 registration document present and correct.
Chassis number 24130500D which makes it an 88" SWB Petrol in Marine Blue
Huge history file with MOTs going back 27 years when the mileage was 60, 990, mileage now 88, 678 so about 1000 miles a year!
Amazingly she is very original with the only major change being an upgraded heater.
This is the second time I have owned LDG!
The last owner of 4 years improved and used LDG for approximately 2 years until life got in the way and it got sidelined.
With some fresh fuel and a battery charge she burst into life and sounds good.
The 2. 25 petrol engine sounds excellent and starts first time.
The gearbox selects well and does not jump out of gear.
High and low ratio are working fine.
Free wheeling hubs fitted.
The brakes were rebuilt with new cylinders and hoses and work well.
The chassis is sound with older welding repairs as you would expect.
The bulkhead has had the footwells repaired many years ago and they are still good and solid.
The paintwork is an older repaint with paint defects in places but I think it suits the Land Rover well.
The canvas is only a few years old and good quality.
As she has been off the road for a while I would advise servicing and checking her over before use.
