1946 Rover P2 16 Six Cylinder 2147cc Saloon With Sliding Sunshine Roof . Remarkably original and on inspection upon are lifts I can not believe how untouched and excellent the underside of this Rover P2 is . A good spray with wax oil at point of sale will maintain the condition as is for years to come . The body work has not been touched in years and yes it has some imperfections but personally its so untouched I would leave it as it is . Original leather seating and brown carpet make the interior charming and again it should be left alone . Press the starter button and six cylinder motor bursts into life and its whisper quiet and shows excellent oil pressure . I have driven the P2 on the road and it is excellent , No overheating , Easy gear change and excellent brakes . In all its a charming old Rover which should be left as it is . I am told it was in the hands of the last owner for 40 years and he has maintained the P2 16 very well . I am awaiting further paper work to arrive for the Rover P2 16 .
