This black Mercedes 500SL R129 roadster was imported from the US state of Oklahoma, where it resided since sold new in August 1991.
Body and paint are in very presentable condition, with light cosmetic imperfections that are to be expected of a car of this age. The body is rust free. We have a digital VIN report for this 500SL, which is clean and shows no damage history. Missing some small plastic parts: front mud guards and under engine cover plate, as well as the right hand fog light. Also, the right front headlamp has a crack. Included is the original black hard top.
The interior is in clean condition, with some age-related wear. Operation of the soft and hard top hydraulic cylinders is trouble free, and the convertible top module has been professionally rebuilt. The black canvas soft top is in good condition, with 2 cracks in the plastic side windows.
All manuals and booklets are included with the car. We will be giving this car a general maintenance check. All 4 tyres show dry cracks and should be replaced. Current mileage: 96. 490. The car runs and drives well. One key.
