2000 HONDA CIVIC VTI 1. 8 AERODECK MC2
Hi. Here we have for sale is my ultra low mileage 2000 Honda civic vti aerodeck with 33, 000 genuine miles.
Completely original. Quite possibly the lowest mileage, rust free aerodeck vti left on the roads!

* MOT
Full 12 month MOT until 11th March 2021
Flew through a strict mot with zero advisories. Mot tester was suprised how clean and rust free it was underneath. Bushes and droplinks are perfect with no play which is nice. Passed brake / hand brake and emissions test just fine.
New front and rear numberplates just fitted prior to MOT.
I removed the original Honda stamped numberplates because they starting to de laminate around the sides on the front. So replaced both. I still have the originals in the boot.
If you check the mot history you can see up to 2014 it had less than 20, 000 miles. In the past 6 years it's only one around 13, 000 miles.
Not had much mileage put on it yearly at all. For example in 2010 it covered 142 miles, 2011 - 102 miles, 2012 - 127 miles and 2013 with 44 miles.
* Engine
B18C4 DOHC VTEC 170bhp engine. Runs ultra smooth and is very quiet. Starts up perfectly from cold and warms up perfectly.
Absolutely zero smoke or oil usage. VTEC works as it should and again no smoke from behind. No oil leaks or any coolant loss.
Valve cover is still the original factory wrinkle black. Pretty much non existent now as the original finish flake of badly with age/ heat cycles. Engine mounts are very solid and tight. No unwanted noises or knocks. Engine bay brackets dont have any rust which is a good sign.. All original.
Engine oil has literally just been changed before MOT using genuine Honda filters and sump plug washer
Clutch fluid changed and bled same time.
Air filter has just been replaced along with interior pollen filter. (Have reciepts)
New battery.
* Gearbox
S9B limited slip differential LSD gearbox again is super smooth zero crunches or whines. LSD grips as it should.
Clutch is perfect seems like the original one from new with a biting point towards bottom / halfway, no judder or vibration. Its perfect and not worn at all. Clutch fluid has just been replaced and bled correctly. Gearbox mounts are solid and tight. No unwanted noises or knocks
* Interior
Interior is good condition, no rips to the half leather seats. Headlining sits perfect and is not sagging (common) Ac works perfect blows ice cold. Pollen filter has just been replaced. Sony CD/ radio player with auxiliary input. Original floor mats in good condition. Sunroof works fine it tilts and slides all the way back. Original spare wheel and tool kit present with locking wheel nuts and spare new oem wheel nuts.
* Exterior
Bodywork does have age related marks here and there as it's a 20 year old car. Best bit is car is solid and straight.
Absolutely zero rust on the rear arches they are literally like brand new which is super hard to find now ! As you know rust in this area is common and very costly to fix as replacement panels are long discontinued.
Chassis has never been welded. Rear rust issues on 90s Hondas are notorious if not cleaned / cared for. I Can report everywhere is solid with no rust/ rot issues anywhere. I have more pictures.
I still have the original rear arch plastic strips that were fitted from factory. I removed these to check arches and have left them of to prevent moisture trap.
Moving on to the underneath again I can report zero rust issues. Extremely good condition as expected. Front and rear subframes are in great condition with no rust especially around the fuel tank area. Very clean and solid. Floor pan is perfect, also the front slam panel hiding behind front bumper has no rust either. Can be seen once bonnet is open. I have more pictures.
* Wheels / Brakes
Wheels are good condition and not corroded with very good tyres all round. Brake calipers are good and not sticky, Original brake pads and discs that don't seem worn at all. Car stops well. Abs works fine. Calipers are not rusty they stilll have some of the original zinc coating from when these rolled out the factory.

As you can see this aerodeck has never been modified or messed with, everything works as it should. Drives very nice and smooth no knocks from suspension or engine mounts.
These vti's are a rare car in general as so many end up modified, thrashed with high miles/ rust issues then get eventually broken for parts. I have owned & parted out a good few of these and its super rare to find in such condition.
Values are only going up for unmolested low mileage ones. Try finding an original b series vti with less than 35k on the clock, or just any B series even.
Doesn't need anything, Perfect car for any Honda enthusiast. Would make a perfect daily driver, lots of space and a comfortable drive not forgetting that legendary b series engine. Very hard to come by now as you all know
