A particularly stunning example, finished in Masons Black Deep Gloss over Parchment Hide Piped Charcoal with twin Silver fine lines to coachwork. Supplied in August 1987 by Reg Vardy, Newcastle and still retaining its original registration of E88BBB. This car boasts freshness rarely seen in Spirits of this era. Sitting up nice and proud on her springs, complimented by a set of upgraded later RR style alloys RRA/ 3 with chromed caps, RR estimate present for £4100 back in 1999. The interior still retains a dry freshness, with original lambswool rugs in place. The seats are nice and plump, and still bear the fresh aroma of Connolly hide when opening the doors. Its always nice to see the original Blaupunkt Toronto stereo remaining in place, undisturbed, with sound loud and clear through the channels. Under bonnet is spotlessly clean and dry and the boot interior is lovely also, with original small and large tools in their correct position. The underside of the car is a delight, having received regular Waxoyling throughout its lifetime. As always it’s the service history that give these cars Pedigree, and this one is right up there with the best. Just 3 previous owners, and the been in the hands of the last owner for 10 years. The factory bookpack, all pullouts, a copy of the original factory order and delivery note are present, along with the warranty card, full set of chassis cards, sales invoice to first and second owners, and much thorough servicing documentation running back 30 years up to the current date. Serviced at 1, 7, 12, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 33, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40 and 41k miles. Last serviced less than 100 miles ago. Both sets of original Yale keys are all present. A thorough mechanical chekover and service has recently been carried out, including replacement of many perishable items. This Spirit is right up there with the best of them from this era, and being finished in Masons Black is unique and very rewarding to stand back and look at after applying the final coat of Simoniz ! About as much Rolls Royce as you will get for little outlay, which should maintain it value for ever more if looked after !
