1987 BMW E30 325I CONVERTIBLE
This beautiful e30 convertible has just arrived into stock with us this week. It represents a great opportunity to purchase a completely standard car that has never been altered either cosmetically or mechanically. It was previously the property of one of our good customers who has owned it for the last 4 years, prior to this it was the property of rock superstar and legendary car guy Jay Kay of Jamiroquai fame. The car has only had 5 owners in its lifetime and covered 150000 miles.
Mechanically the car seems very good upon test drive, everything works and it is an absolute delight to drive, we will be giving the car a full service including changing all the fluids and filters, new spark plugs and a thorough mechanical inspection before giving her a fresh 12 months MOT.
The car is very panel straight overall and a nice tidy honest example, there are some minor stone chips and the odd car parking dink for us to attend to and two very minor pieces of corrosion (barely noticeable) on the lower rear arches. All of the chrome work and external trim is also in very nice condition. You may notice on one of the pictures that the rear hard tonneau cover doesn’t quite sit flush on the nearside, this is something that just requires minor adjustment and will be rectified before sale. The blue hood looks fantastic and has no rips or damage whatsoever , the plastic rear window has a small 2 inch split in it but this will be replaced by a local trimmer once the current restrictions allow us to do so.
The blue leather interior is in good overall original condition but in our opinion would definitely benefit from a professional reconnolisation, so we have decided to also include this as part of our preparation to the vehicle which will finish it off lovely.
