DEPOSIT TAKEN This Beetle was owned by its second from 1980 to 2003, in 1999 it was subject to a full body restoration which included fitting a new factory Open Air Cabriolet shell rather than restore the old shell, invoices in history in excess of £6, 000 spent at the time, also at the same time an electric folding cabriolet Sunroof was fitted which keeps the structural integrity in the shell but offers a lovely Cabriolet option, in 2003 the Beetle passed to another local owner who kept and continued to improve and use the Beetle when in 2019 it passed to another enthusiast. This Beetle structure is very solid having had the benefit of new factory shell. The Beetle is fitted with 195 15 Rear tyres and 145 15 Front tyres, Baby Moon hub caps, Superb interior with earlier period cream Steering Wheel and Whicker front stowage shelf, Rear seat belts fitted, Hessian Over Mats, drives and runs superbly with good history file with. Continuous history from 1995, This Beetle is now road tax free and MOT exempt, but the last owner continued to keep it MOTD which runs to July 2020. Being a 1200 model also makes it more affordable insurance for the younger driver and very rare being the Open Air Cabriolet. The condition is genuine and clean but does have the odd mark scratch and the odd parking dent, but this seems to add to the Character of the Beetle which is now looking for a new owner who will love and cherish this superb driving VW.
