Beschreibung
A very early Chummy (just two years into production), this 1924 example, complete with logbook dating back to 1938, still shows its original registration number. The chassis number is clearly stamped on the chassis, and on a plate on the bulkhead. Originally a magneto-engined car, this one is now fitted with a late two-bearing coil engine, however, the car does come with a c. 1926 magneto engine and gearbox for rebuilding and eventually fitting back into the car. It was rebuilt, including new body, a number of years ago and is very solid indeed with no rust. This is a car that, after a few days spent giving it a thorough going-over and service, could be used as it is, and could then be improved whilst using and enjoying it. It would make a great trials car as it is not a lot of money (so it won't matter if you bash it about a bit!) and obviously, it's vintage. V5C. This car is not perfect, so don't expect it to be, but it is a lot of fun!
