Austin Healey 3000 Mk 2 BT7 Tri-Carb. Built between 30th March – 3rd April 1962 and dispatched to the Hambro Automotive Corporation, USA on the 1st May 1962. This car spent over 30 years in USA before being shipped to Australia in the mid 90’s where it was maintained by The Healey Factory.
The current owner purchased the car in Australia whilst working there and shipped it back to the UK in 2015. Since its arrival, this car has been the subject of a high-quality repaint and retrim. It has also had a total engine rebuild and upgrade by leading Healey specialist including fast road aluminium cylinder head, omega forged pistons, vernier timing gears, dynamic crankshaft pulley, aluminium sump, high torque starter motor, alternator and six branch exhaust manifold.
Structurally superb throughout and fitted with overdrive, chrome wire wheels, rear anti-roll bar and spot/ fog lamps. Supplied with black weather equipment, side screens and spare keys.
