The Jaguar XK 150, available starting in the spring of 1957, was the perfected extension of the XK-series. It was bulkier and more comfortable than its predecessors and was meant to delight customers until the completion of the series E-Type. In March of 1958 the high performing model S was introduced, with 3 carburettors, identifiable by the preceded “T” in the chassis number.
Our Jaguar XK 150 S OTS is one of these rare models and was initially exported to the US. Since 1994 the roadster was at home in Spain and has had a German owner since 2014. This Oldtimer shines not only with its high performance features but also its unique style. The leather, a little patinated, is fabulously original. Any new owner will want to invest a little, e. g. in new tires and throttle linkage bushings. The electrical contact in the overdrive occasionally loses function. This Jaguar XK 150 S can easily be compared to other classics like the Mercedes-Benz 300 S, Aston Martin DB4 or Ferrari 250 but its price is a lot more reasonable!
