This wonderful low mileage 635 has led a very pampered life, which is evident just by looking at its fantastic condition inside and out. Backed up by one of the largest history files I’ve yet to see for a car of this age, old MOT’s date back to 1991, with full history from new, including every booklet BMW provided from the factory. It even has an electric areal wipe in the pack!
It gets looks wherever it goes and is always number one for everyone in the showroom, resplendent in its recently refinished zinnoberrot paintwork, wonderfully complimented with the optional sports seats, it looks every bit as good now as they did when first released.
Having owned an e24 635csi personally before not only do I love these cars, but also know how good they can be when looked after. A great long-distance cruiser, but also very capable of hustling a B-road when driven with the auto box in manual override.
The punchy M30 engine performs as you’d expect, having had a cylinder head rebuild in 2007 at 57, 836 miles, the gearbox is silky smooth and silent. The switchable sports mode also works as intended.
Further evidence as to how much of a cossetted existence this car has enjoyed can be seen by the complete and rust-free tool kit in the boot, along with the first aid kit still in its cellophane wrapping.
At this price you’ll be hard pushed to find a better looked after car, let alone such a low mileage example. It appears to be the best one on offer in the U. K as we speak.
