1948 Wolseley Eight Saloon. Factory Black with Fawn Leather upholstery. This beautiful Wolseley has been the subject of a long restoration that was completed in 2017. A complete body off nut and bolt rebuild was carried out which is all recorded in detail in a very large photo album. Every component refurbished or replaced. The history file also includes a list of parts purchased excluding labour which exceeds £9700. Also in the file is the continuation buff log book which shows the original registration number of JYF 791 which is still on the car today and the original instruction manual. The paintwork has a deep shine and the upholstery trimmed in brand new leather. The headlining is all new and the sunroof opens and closes correctly. The attention to detail is very good and the car is finished as it should be. As you would expect the car runs and drives very well, starting on the button and showing good oil pressure.
