Imported to the UK from Fallbrook, California in August 1999, this genuine Karmann Cabriolet looks stunning in its original colour of Kings Red with Black interior and perfectly re-trimmed black hood using Mercedes cloth. The car starts, runs and drives absolutely superbly, having covered only 20, 000 miles in the past 20 years. All original panels are still present, although the car benefits from having been professionally restored and repainted by renowned experts the The Paint Box in Essex in 2002. It has obviously been cherished by its two UK owners, spending much of its time in a temperature controlled Carcoon since this work was carried out, as the car still shows no signs of corrosion whatsoever and is completely solid throughout. The strong 1300 engine runs well and has been well maintained with various service invoices on file. In 2016 the fuel system was overhauled as were the brakes at the same time.
