1982 Porsche 911 SC 3. 2
Imported from the US by the current owner in 2019, this 1982 911 SC is a factory black on black car with electric sunroof, windows and air conditioning. In 2013 the engine was replaced with a later, more powerful 3. 2 unit, the result of which is an utterly usable and comparatively affordable classic 911.
Alongside the engine upgrade, the car also received other improvements including European headlights - a fortuitous upgrade given its later repatriation - new brakes, front shocks and more. Today, the car presents well with a clean interior, tidy engine bay and deep glossy paint.
The car was fully serviced by a marque specialist in June 2019 and drives great today. Sold with a large history file, complete with original bill of sale, handbook and service book, this 911 is on-the-button and can be either used as is or improved. We’d be inclined to keep it as is, but re-gas the aircon given the current weather.
We love a concours, matching numbers 911 as much as anyone, but truthfully the 911s we love the most are the upgraded, usable ones with a classic colour combination and a whale tail - this example is just that.
