Rare Ariel Square Four Mark I with Steib S 250 sidecar.
Of this model, only 3, 922 were recorded in the years 1949 -1953 to have been built.
The Mark I models are characterized by the new full-aluminium engine.
Since the cylinders and heads were now made of aluminium, they not only saved 14 kg in weight, but also had no overheating problems anymore.
This 4-cylinder machine was therefore also good for a speed of approx. 90 mp/ h, which at that time was only beaten by the Vincent 1000.
Motorcycle has been in the last hands for a long time. Old MOT´s certify that it was only ridden for 3, 411 miles in the last 20 years. The mileage shown on the clock of 22, 457 miles, could be therefor the original.
