Rare genuine BMW e30 Alpina C2 2. 7 for sale. This is a Diamond Schwartz, 2 door coupe, 5 speed manual, C2 2. 7. There are 5 previous owners with two being brothers, only 124K miles since 1989.
This C2 is number 8047 and is on the Alpina register. I have the authenticity letter sent to me by Sytner Nottingham confirming it is an Alpina and the list of parts used to convert it to an Alpina before they sold it to the first customer in 1989.
It comes with stacks of receipts, previous MOT's and service history. There is unfortunately a mileage discrepancy in March 2012. The MOT tester has put 119058 instead of 110058. Unfortunately, it was picked up after the next MOT so it could not be corrected.
This lovely example has NO RUST. Any rust was treated or cut out and replaced with BMW metal (donor car). This car has undergone a complete overhaul with only genuine BMW parts used.
This car comes with a limited slip diff, Alpina exhaust system inc manifold, all ceramic coated, staggered genuine 16" Alpina alloy wheels with brand new Yokohama Neova AD08R's fitted all round, Alpina MOMO steering wheel, Alpina Wooden gear knob, Alpina instrument cluster and also had the Alpina digital vent gauge that I will be fitting soon, it also has a very rare item known as a Sound board (Kenwood Heckablage). This is a parcel shelf that has integrated speakers (subs, mids and tweeters.). This has been re-trimmed to match the rest of the interior.
The previous owner had the popular Z3 steering rack conversion and the manual transmission conversion done at Bexley Motor Works. This transforms the car and only adds to the enjoyment.
In my ownership I have carried out the following preventative and corrective maintenance, replaced brake pads and discs front and rear, fitted new and period correct Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks front and rear. The fronts have the genuine M3/ Alpina adjustable top mounts fitted. Struts are fitted front and rear, a brand new alcantara/ leather interior with genuine e30 heated Recaro sports seats fitted, with the rear seats fitted with the centre arm rest, Blauounkt SQR 46 DAB radio fitted so has all of the modern features such as bluetooth, DAB and various media connections. The dashboard has been replaced with one that has no cracks. Only period correct and genuine items have been used.
The aesthetics of the engine bay have been enhanced with the replacement of the power steering hoses with custom made hoses to make the look under the hood more OEM. The front sub frame has also been refurbished and powder coated as has the rear sub frame with new bushes fitted.
The entire wiring loom has been re-taped using tesa tape and any brittle plugs replaced with genuine ones from BMW. The headlight wash wipers have been overhauled and working correctly. There is also a full toolkit in the boot.
On top of all of this the following has also been carried out, new timing belt and water pump fitted, new clutch fitted, new alternator belt, new power steering belt, new handbrake cables and shoes, gearbox has been serviced and all bushes and seals replaced with new genuine OEM bushes and seals. This has transformed the gearbox, to give crisp tight gear changes. New OEM gearbox mounts fitted, new OEM propshaft doughnut, brand new alternator, injectors replaced with brand new OEM ones.
A Clifford G5 Cat 1, Thatcham insurance approved alarm fitted with immobiliser and certificate 2 fobs supplied. All new locks fitted to the entire car with brand new keys. All parts are new and from BMW. The benefit being no worn out keys or locks and quite a few keys are supplied when purchasing this kit giving peace of mind to the owner that they have all the keys they will ever need! central Everything works as it should. This car has wanted for nothing in my ownership. Stacks of receipts to prove only genuine items were used.
This car truly is an investment and has been very well cared for. Prices are only going up on classic BMW’s. You are more than welcome to inspect the car I can assure you that you will be very satisfied.
