The original owner believes the motor was used by Franco Farne in 175 Formula III events and was altered to utilise the top end from a 175 Sport
With a high compression piston and an F3 cam
When the engine arrive in the UK it was fitted in a heacy road frame and raced with great success by Mick White with the expertise and sponsorship from well known Ducati specialist and author Mick Walker
